Kevyn Herrera
B.S. in Electrical Engineering - U.C. Berkeley
M.S. in Electrical Engineering - U.C. Berkeley
B.S. in Aerospace Engineering - Stanford University
Hello! I am Kevyn Herrera. At the moment I am studying at Stanford for my Ph. D in electrical engineering and my masters degree in aerospace engineering. I am currently working with Juan Alonso in developing hypersonic vehicles in order to get my masters degree in aerospace engineering. We are looking to make these types of vehicles more efficient at traveling at such high speeds and better resist the factors that can stop the vehicle from doing what we want it to do. I used to work with Eli Yablonovitch at U.C. Berkeley in order to get my master degree in electrical engineering and I assisted him in making advances in optical sensors. It has been an honor working for such people and I hope to continue to pursue my passion in the fields of engineering.

Angel Halafihi
Bachelor of Medicine - Stanford University
Evangelina “Angel” Halafihi excels in the field of Medicine with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Stanford. She has always been interested in, and very good in, math and science. Her most helpful professor, she recalls, was Professor Vinod Menon, who is still at Stanford today. With his interests being pointed towards Psychiatry and Behavioral Science, he helped encourage Angel to pursue the path that she has taken in those same fields of work. She is currently enrolled in this Engineering course because she feels that it will help her bring out her creativity, which she believes is an important skill in almost all aspects of life.

Manisha Rattu
B.S. in Elecrical Engineering - U.C. Berkeley
M.S. in Electrical Engineering - U.C. Berkeley
B.S. in Computer Engineering - Stanford University
Research Assistant for Venkat Anantharam - Ph. D in Electrical Engineering
Hello! My name is Manisha Rattu and I am currently pursuing my Ph.D in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree and Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from U.C. Berkeley. While studying at U.C. Berkeley, I was able to have the great opportunity to be a research assistant for Venkat Anantharam. As Mr. Anantharam’s assistant, I was able to help build a new alarm/sensor system for cars that allowed them to detect objects behind them, as well as on their sides. This new technology was highly implemented and can be found in numerous vehicles. I am currently researching on a new type of sensor system that can be used to reduce energy usage in public areas.

Gabriel Piña
B.S. in Civil Engineering - U.C. Los Angeles
M.S. in Civil Engineering - Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Hello everyone! My name is Gabriel Pina, I am 16 years old and I am from Pittsburg, CA. I attended UCLA where I got my bachelors degree in Civil Engineering. One of my professor, Adib Kanafani, suggested that I transfers to M.I.T. to finish my schooling. So the following year I decided to transferred to Massachusetts Institute of Technology where I got my masters degree in civil engineering. My new professor was Rafael L. Bras who widely expanded my knowledge on engineering and greatened my passion to become one. Now that I finished schooling I landed a job with a huge corporation and am making good money. On my spare time I enjoy wrestling and playing baseball.

Kimberly Narciso
B.S in Chemical Engineering - Stanford University
B.S in Architecture - Stanford University
Minor in Visual Arts - Stanford University
Hello and good day. My name is Kimberly Narciso, and I am currently a student in Standford. I am studying and taking classes to attain my goal. My goal is to have M.S in both chemical and architectural engineering. I am also conducting research with professor James Adams of Standford. We research many aspects of engineering. One is the management of creativity and change in technology. Also, am interning in a large company which I hope to work for once I finish school. This project my group is creating is important to the US. We are able to create a safe, and solar efficient to a community.

Andy Cai
B.S. in Architecture - Massachusetts Institute of Technology
B.S. in Industrial Design - Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Minor in History - Massachusetts Institute of Technology
M.Arch (Masters of Architecture) - Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Hello. My name is Andy Cai (currently a student working towards a Ph.D in Architecture), a student who studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (colloquially called MIT). Under the masterful tutelage of a renowned professor, Prof. Eran Ben-Joseph, I am rapidly attaining my goal of teaching relatively young minds the wonders of modern/classical architecture. As his assistant (and excellent underling, if I say so myself), I have collaborated with other higher tier professors well-known in the world of architecture in their projects. Currently, I am working for a company called The Green Life, an intensive real estate development group that specializes in encouraging the usage of renewable energy, especially solar panels (which harness almost unlimited energy from the greatest energy provider the world has ever known - the Sun).
In the future, I aim to be one of the greatest designers in the modern history of architecture WHILE teaching young minds at either college: the University of California, Berkeley; or the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
